Better decisions start with how work really happens.

I built WorkflowMind after seeing businesses invest in changes without a clear picture of the work behind the problem. Our approach brings people's experience, operational evidence and technology into the same investigation.

Why I built WorkflowMind.

I'm Devon Page. For more than a decade I've worked with businesses on growth, operations, technology and the systems that connect them.

I helped develop the commercial and CRM infrastructure behind a UK office furniture startup that exceeded £1m revenue in its first year, and worked on the enrolment and delivery systems that helped Create PT reach learners nationally and internationally.

I also investigated operations where the documented process looked sensible, but the day-to-day work told a different story. Staff were correcting orders, working around software and solving the same problems repeatedly. Often, nobody had the complete picture.

My master's research at Manchester Metropolitan University used institutional ethnography to examine organisations through people's everyday work. It reinforced something I'd seen in practice: if you want to understand a problem, you have to follow what people actually do, not just what the procedure says.

I built WorkflowMind to make that work more thorough and more useful. It connects conversations, process maps, source evidence and operational analysis so findings can be checked and used beyond a single project.

Today we use it to investigate businesses directly, and independent consultants can use the same platform with their own clients.

Advice that can stand up to questions.

A recommendation should explain what needs to change, why it matters and what the evidence does not yet prove.

That might mean simplifying a process, improving existing software, building an integration, hiring another person or deciding not to spend the money yet.

Where there's a clear technical requirement, we can also help deliver suitable improvements. The recommendation and implementation are agreed separately, and clients remain free to choose who does the work.
